what a great night! wound up visiting for the saturday night expo and they rocked it out. video, music and dance were incredible. met some awesome people,saw old friends, have new stories and hung out until 5 am. so thanks for the joy and the sleep dep! what's next?

well, i think i've relaxed enough to sum this up. my vacation was pretty much as expected. lots of driving to see amazing people i've only gotten to see rarely. Pennsic was good, but i spent the first two day acclimating, the next two day drunk and the last two days wondering what happened. next year i think i'll fly.

my first 2 week vacation at my full time job and i'm headed to Pennsic. I'll drive in after seeing Eddie Izzard here in Denver. Hell of a way to start the vacation. then to Pennsic. maybe a visit on the way, and a visit on the way back. driving alone so i'll be fairly free to do as i wish. kinda like while i was on the road but i'll be getting paid for the two weeks i'm not working. how novel. corporate America has it's perks. can't wait to see all my folks and get in some downtime.miss y'all... read more

Everything gonna be alright!

seems the boss at my shoppe is moving up and i'm off to greener pastures, quite literally. i'm stopping driving my car to work by moving my work closer. As in 5 blocks from my home. i've been working large volume meat departments for the last 5 years and i'm tired. the store i'm moving to (Capitol Hill) is an old Wild Oats that just got rebranded. it's a lateral move, i was trying to hold out for a position above the one i'm in but i've seen what waiting does.... read more
