We've had such a tumultuous few days here - and when i read the news of Dr Hofmann's demise yesterday, I couldn't help seeing the dark edges around ** why ** he may have left us now ...!! But - tempting though it is to be so self-indulgent, and to see some sort of celestial design in this - I won't dwell on that. I will, instead, simply remember this man for his incredible mind, indomitable spirit, and fantastic heart....
I admire him above all because he was never deterred by the negativ...

When i saw the last comment on my previous blog this morning, i deleted the whole thing along with all of the comments. It had become exactly the kind of disgusting exchange that is demonstrates **why** there can be no psy in NYC.
How depressing this whole experience has been. I wrote about people fighting over their ego needs, and a group of them calling the cops and getting the other person arrested and put in central lock-up, just out of spite, for no real reason - a fabricated charge. ...

For perhaps the first time in my life, the end of summer comes as a huge relief.
In retrospect, the reason is simple:: I - or, we - did too much this summer. Vish and I packed the season so full of wonderful experiences, travels, and new projects that I'm ending the summer in a state of complete exhaustion - - a complete contrast to my usual sense of complete revitalisation after the sunshine of a North American August.
