Greetings~

Okay this is an event that has been in the works for a quite a while! I am pleased that it's time I can start promoting it and am honestly really excited about it! This event promises to be a different approach to the scene here in Seattle and I am really looking forward to being a part of it. I know the promoter and have heard her vision and can honestly say that this will be a very unique event.

I will be djing for the 1st hour of the night w/ some improv performances happening while I'm djing. There will be three different stages w/ three different types of performing arts happening simutaneously. Of course the rest of hte night promises to bring many more forms of entertainment and art forms. Please be sure to check out the website for the press release and details.

This is the first night of Halloween weekend! I strongly urge you to try something new and check this event out as I think it will prove to be an enticing time.

Saturday, October 7th, Special Guest:
Radiohiro (Karsh Kale Kollektiv - Chicago) Bringing Western and Asian culture together thru music has always been RadioHiro's main objective. After being blown away by the musical ferocity of John McLaughlin's SHAKTI release, he went on to offer his services to the legendary Tranquility Bass (exist dance/astralwerks), a group that notably founded trip hop and was responsible for the classic Indian electronic cut, Cantamilla (Birth of Cool II/MoWAX). Radiohiro by name, began in 1998 as a bi-weekly pirate FM radio and live internet broadcast, taking Asian Underground, Bhangra, and Bollywood music and combining it with modern day electronic Drum and Bass records. A studied musician/drummer, RadioHiro now combines his musical training with a profound love for Indian Classical music, re-writing the sound of Asian Underground with a dark, hard driving, yet melodic style. Radiohiro hits the turntables and drums in concert live on a regular basis and has been performing yearly at the Chicago World Music Festival, and other cultural events across the nation. Radiohiro can be heard streaming live exclusively on ethnotechno.com. Over the years Radiohiro has either worked with or shared the stage with this vast array of artists and record companies including: Quincy Jones, Matmos, Atari Teenage Riot, Rage Aginst The Machine, George Brooks, Larry Coryell, Bill Laswell, Steve Gorn, Hal Russell and the NRG Ensemble, Blue Note Records, Verve Records, Astralwerks, Stereolab, Sony Records, MCA Records, Ozzfest Radio, Artist Direct, Alligator Record, Garbage, Fiona Apple, Primus, Barenaked Ladies, Jamiroquai, Sean Lennon, Alice In Chains, Incubus, Train, Ben Folds Five, Underworld, Cibo Matto, Len, Jeff Buckley, The Fugees, System Of A Down, Lollapalooza, White Zombie, L7, Tupac Shakur, 24-7 Spies, New Line Cinema, Rolling Stone.com, Babes In Toyland, GBH, Discharge, Killing Joke, Toxic Reasons, Public Image Ltd. www.radiohiro.com/
