We get by in part, because of Kazoo's thoughtful style, her crafty tones, her hospitality to die for, and generocity of firery spirit!

Have I told you recently that she rocks? Biscuits and sausage gravy, chocolate cayenne truffles (YUM!)

about me
Several years ago I made an agreement with to "get over myself". It's done wonders for my life. Now I prefer doing to watching, though I still appreciate a healthy dose of being alone and recharging.

purrcast.com/ ding0 and I brainstormed purrcast a few months ago, and then he decided to make it happen. I keep the cats fed and happy so they purr, he sticks a micophone in their faces and puts the recordings online. We hope to expand the show in the near future, but until then you can relax to the sounds of our happy cats. Hit play multiple times for maximum relaxation.
I am so excited to take another workshop with Lisa - she's fun, and you learn so much. This one is labled for tribal dancers, but will really benefit ANY dancer who is looking to learn more about dancing to live music.

kazoogrrl.livejournal.com/388900.html It made the whole trip a little surreal. Work has been a little tough, and I'm distracted, but it's going ok. I'm trying to get some momentum going for some new projects. Came back from the trip seriously inspired and slightly sad, i.e. why the hell doesn't the Baltimore dance scene have the classes I... read more

What's the crowd like? I'm assuming just about any music is ok to use? And it's a pretty large space , dancing to three sides of the audience, correct? We'll be there next week and are trying to pull everything together! Thanks!
Kallisti Tribal is traveling to Philly Saturday to dance and hang out at "www.tribalbellies.com/events.htm" (ahem, that's a plug if anyone wants to come see us).

Philly area people - we plan on getting to town around 3pm, and we don't have to be at the location until 6:30-7ish. Would anyone have suggestions on places to: * have a nice (and not too pricey) late lunch? All food styles welcome, we're not picky. * chill out and hang for a little while? This includes cultural thing... read more
