Somewhere around 50 I laughed out loud and thought this group would enjoy each others outside the box goals.

The Happy Folk

I made a conscious plan last week... to spend more time around happy people. Especially those who have found some joy and balance in their lives. the need to vent:
After contacting several US softgoods vendors, I am close to throwing in the towel on US manufacturing. the last 3 vendors have done nothing but try to talk me out of making stuff in this country. I will need to supply them with everything but the labor... too much work for me to handle I think. In China, it's all seamlessly done for me behind the scenes.. gracefully, and at a fraction of the US cost... what's a guy to do when he wants to do whats right, but has hands tied ... read more

what went wrong with this great country?

As the son of immigrants, I have been a USA advocate since birth. I feel it's been as they say... "the greatest country on earth" It's gone from greatest to great I think. And that thing calld "good old american ingenuity" that we used to count on... well... working abroad changed my opinion of that.
