Cool Cats of Vancity, This year has been quite a journey already and I hope everyone is manifesting their hopes and goals thus far. Produce and I have recently manifested living on the coast again for an undetermined amount of cherry blossom, seafoam, rich mountain forest and urban jungle time. Im not as much of an internet friendly person as I'd like to be an feel disconnected with what really going down in the extensive urban tribal culture these days. I know with it being spring now events and happening are really starting to rev up in this town and would love to hear from any of my tribe friends about whats up in the here and now. Hoping to connect in one way or another with all the galactic family members Ive missed seein the last few times we've been in town visiting. Looking forward to the coastal summer vibes and hearing about any fire spinning(I do Poi), dance parties, intentional gathering of importance etc. It's been a challenge staying connected livin in the prairies and workin lots over there but Im hopin this summer is the time for us and any others who are wanting to reconnect to make it happen. Things you may not know about me: - I grew up as a prairie girl in Alberta and returned to my roots a few years ago to ground and grow. - I was very musical as a child under my moms' influence. I sang in choir, played the piano and played the flute for years. - I started dancing at an early age and have taken many different types of classes that now aid in my freeflow skills on the dance floor and as a fire dancer the chains. - I was in army cadets as a teenager and learned many useful life and survival skills. - I moved to Montreal on my own at 18 for a change of pace and to go to Concordia university. I loved the old-world architecture and metropolitan culture. I studied general arts and then went into the design art program which gave me a great understanding of design history fundamentals. -during the summers between university I went to Northern B.C. to tree plant. I ended up planting for 4 summers and it gave me a lot of perspective while also building my personal modivation and endurance for life and accompliishing goals. -I moved to Vancouver after 3 years in montreal and did personal studies in the healing arts and invsible arts like martial arts and yoga. I loved the open creative community of light-bringers I hadnt really experience fully anywhere up till then and the healthy consious lifestyle Van city had to offer. I started practicing fire spinning, participating in local community events, became a part of Green Samurai Clan, started making jewellery and eventually started up my Terraburst Design jewellery company. I loved being part of the paradise of mountains and ocean and having no winter! A first for me(Winter makes you hardy though so Im not really complaining!) I gained and grew tons, made a few mistakes I learned from, and had many successes in a the cut-throat yet bountiful metropolis. -I also worked as a waitress for many years, have done landscaping and gardening, painted homes and condos with my partner, worked on a elk farm feeding animals, cutting wood dehairing elk antlers for elk velvet(we frose the animals when antlers are cut off or they also fall off naturally) and shovelling shit! -I love swimming, biking, yoga, being creative good movies, reading, intelligent thoughts and conversation, video games, paintball, dancing, comic books, snowboarding, travelling, culture, education, making friends, enjoying and honouring nature, good food oh and licorice and gummie berries. -I met my life partner and cosmic mirror in Vancouver, even though we are both from the edmonton area and had some of the same friends here when we were younger. We blossomed in love together and immensly enjoyed and made the most of our time there. We learn to go with the flow of life more and when it called us back to Alberta we tearfully departed our beloved Vancouver hoping to return again in the future. Since then we have worked and lived and loved and grow more successful and prosperous with our skills and the support of family here. we have visited Van. many times but never for enough and hope to buy a home out there in the future so we can visist anytime or live more permanently. -I am currently working as the manager of Beadworks in Edmonton and it has taught me important job/people/ and business skills. I get to run the show cuz the owner lives in Van. which has been challenging yet rewarding. -I am working with a friend in Van. on my new Terraburst Designs catologue for my new line the ryan helped me develop that has more silversmithing incorporated. We will be working on the website next which is relly exciting. -i am also finishing a correspondence course from New York for a certification course in Interior Design. I love design of all types but especially types that really challenge your visualization skills and interiors definetely does that! It is going well and I should be certified by the end of the year hopefully. Im not sure where i will take that but im gonna take more courses in drawing cuz I like that side of it and tis a good place to start. -Ryan and I have a condo-townhouse on a lake in Sherwood park just east of edmonton and a cat named Monkey who is a mini white tiger. -We are going to Maggie Blue and Hoi Chiu's wedding in Hong Kong in October then to Thailand after and are really excited about it!! -I give thanks daily for all that I am, all that I have and all that I am to become.
