Yes the new year, january 1, 2007 a day of headaches and technicolor vomit. When I was a kid (a long time ago, and yes I know I'm old so what) my grand parents took us to see the Mummers in Philadelphia, what I remember most about that was all the vomit on the sidewalks and how causal people were about vomiting. Ah yes, fine childhood memories.

So I recently had a job offer in the Lone Star State, so I discussed it with my children and my son said he doesn't want to move to Texas because they talk funny. My daughter, who has her own logic which basically means, it's Summer's world and she allows us to be part of it, had this take. Texas has a lot of hoedowns and she didn't like the square dancing unit in gym. I declined the position.

Yeah so I just got back from vacation in the Outer Banks with the fam, got to do a little surfing down there and took the kids to the Wright Brothers Memorial.
