I'm a bit of a generalist....and partake in many activities, but I generally tend to be attracted to things of a technical or scientific nature. I've learned a lot about engines, chemistry, computers, business, marketing, and general organization from the DIY biodiesel community, which I have been involved with in Colorado (and to some degree nationally and internationally) since 2002.

Currently I am studying engineering at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, and I also work in small scale biomass gasification technology. I also play guitar and fiddle in various arrangements, typically in a bluegrass, folk, or old-time setting, but I like experimental music as well.
