This was a really fun event. We performed a very silly Steampunk inspired duet to music from the Circus Contraption Band. Diana is a great idea woman - the music, the costumes, the concept!

Poor trees

That tree is still leaning against the transformer. The crashing of branches breaking under the weight of the ice and falling was very loud. And scary.

Driveway

We have (had) alot of small trees that lined the driveway. The ice bent the trees over onto the driveway - we couldn't even see to the bottom. It is pretty. But, scary to pass through them. My husband had to cut those down, too.

My husband's car

was hit by a tree. Or pieces of a tree that the ice took down. My husband joked that he's driven worse.

That wild bush

We had this out of control bush in front of the house. It was up to the window of the 2nd floor. I like it, but my husband wanted to get rid of it. Nature took care of that decision for us. And that's the power line that was ripped off the house. And, me.

This is my favorite belly dance costume of all time. I felt like I was wearing my jams. And, because I was a wild woman in the woods, I didn't even wash my hair that morning. I did shave and bathe though. I didn't want to be too authentic and offend everybody.
