Low-cost music lessons and band workshops for children and adults. They help bring the gift of music to kids and adults who might otherwise not be able to afford it.
Self-help for the Elderly
They help older people in SF maintain their independence. They used to help an older French friend of mine--she loved them.
Surf Rider Foundation
They do cleanup days at Ocean Beach--a great organization to be involved with.

I posted a live clip from my concert of someday soon on my myspace page--it's just up for the next couple of days. It's got the normal live issues, i.e. mix levels were bad, etc. But I think it's kind of vibe-y and the crowd was real... read more

Friendship line at the Institute on Aging

Hey Guys,

I hope you're having a great evening.

I know I told you I'm doing an internship starting in the summer out at the institute on Aging. Well, I just wanted to tell you about this great service they have-- it's called the Friendship line. People can call there when they are lonely/down and out. I think it's especially for senior citizens, but they are expanding the IOA's scope this year to include the chronically ill.
