My paternal grandfather is from a small town in Spain and my grandmother is Lebanese. Her maiden name was Zoila Marina Sac. My maternal grandmother is from the Canary Islands and grandfather is Native American. I was born in Havana, Cuba, but we all left when I was 1 yr. old and moved to N.Y. I danced ballet, tap and jazz from the age of 7 to 17 at the June Claire School of Dance. It has taken me until the age of 46 to find dance again, thanks to Alina who led me to Orlando Belly Dance. Dancing is a part of my life again and will be until the day I draw my last breath! Dramatic, I know, but true. Thanks Suspira!
