WASHINGTON, DC (AP) -- In a move that stunned the public broadcasting world, donations are down for the third straight quarter. The $60 donation, the mainstay of public radio and TV broadcasting, has all but disappeared. The reason: Tote bags. For anybody who doesn't believe the fix is in, here's another bit of evidence to show that the corporations are not our friends. Thank goodness I lead my life without dealing with most of the advertisers listed in the memo, but it does sicken me that Microsoft is one of the companies listed.
