This colorful garden studio is not your typical rental. Great artistic details, private entrance, outside patio and hot tub privileges [with shared maintenance].

The apartment is a downstairs unit in close proximity to the upstairs' owners (including 2 teenagers), so in some ways, it will be more like housemates. The apartment is totally separate, except for the laundry facilities, which are connected to the main house. You'll have privacy, but some degree of "living together" and respect for one another's lifestyle is required to take this space.

o Bathroom has small mosaic counter, medicine cabinet, scale, and large stall shower with an interesting 2"-3" layer of smooth pebbles in basin…very therapeutic!

o Color TV with DVD/VCR player and cable
o Wireless Internet access
o Safe street parking
o Hot tub [chlorine-free cleaning system]
o Private furnished patio and garden [a garden maintenance discount may be a possibility if you are qualified and interested]
o Nice neighborhood near Kensington Village, convenient bus route and Tilden Park

The potential bummers [disclaimers]:
o The main entrance to property and garden studio is, regretfully, not wheel chair accessible. In fact, anyone that has issues with going up or down stairs will not be happy here.
o No extra pets wanted [our cat Mars is queen]
o Patio smoking only [NO cigars ever] please.
