I enjoy being in the net circle of Yul! He says it how he sees it, feels it , would like it to be, he's real!

Yul is an overall great guy! Publisher, cartoonist, non-conformist. He is on my short list of people that I'd like to meet in person someday. Keep questioning normalcy. While you'll probably never make big money/fame this way, at least you'll have your integrity.

about me
I'm a person who can really appreciate being "different." Because being like everybody else is insufficient for my short attention span. As such, I have interests in things like science, Esperanto, computer animation and alternate history. In addition to that, life is mostly boring according to my current way of thinking. The reason for that is because I'm of the mind that "society" puts too much emphasis on doing things that have been done to death. Also, I have a very high regard for self-expression. In fact, I would talk and talk and talk and never shut up if I had my way. But since I can't always have my way, I reluctantly tend to be silent. And I hate being silent! How about giving me an excuse to talk and talk and talk and never shut up?!

Bad news/good news here. the bad news is that the morons and retardos of todays modern dystopia continue to celebrate new years day which is a day that shouldn't be celebrated. Why? Because news years is just another day. Plus it's a NOT MANDAORY! In fact, nothing changes on new years day. And I don't care if I'm taking those U2 lyrics out of context!

The good news is that I got my laptop fixed back in late december 2007. It sucked that the repair cost over $360 -- almost the price of a ne... read more

One of the most important lessens I've learned in life is that you can't depend on people for help. (Nearly) every time I ask for help, I don't get it. And since I have a snowball's chance in the solar corona of persuading people to help me, I never will get help. Therefore, I have no choice but to help myself. Thus when I asked for help in getting money for a new laptop, everyone told me no. And since I'm the only peson in the solar system who is willing to buy a laptop for me, I'm going to ... read more

Here's something obvious: Rejection doesn't pay the bills! While going up and down Craig's List looking for freelance art jobs, I ended up wasting mass and energy dealing with people who feel that my art is not what they want. Yes, they can reject me for any reason they want. But at the same time, I do not want to waste time and space dealing with people who don't want my services. What I want is to go DIRECTLY to the people who DO want my services. That should make it possible for me to pay... read more

You Tube is what I call one of the greatest inventions of all time. One main reason for this is that it allows you to control what you view unlike regular TV which doesn't allow you any control at all (with the exception of changing channels and turning off the TV). And because of this control, I was finally able to see a classic animated series I hadn't seen in over 20 years: Galaxy High.

Galaxy High is a short-lived Saturday morning animated series from the mid-1980s about two Earth st... read more

I've read certain (lame) self-help books that often insist that persuasion requires modifiying your behavior so the person you're try to persuade can be more comfortable with you. That may be true, but it also seems to contradict my continuous desire to maintain my own freedom and self-determination.

Yes! Persuasion is like a snowball's chance in the solar corona. With the solar corona being the super-heated plasma that surrounds the sun and is estimated to be 2 million degrees even thou... read more
