flying J never ceases to amaze.....find him sitting on a hillside at sunrise in dayglo pants or up a ladder in the middle of the night making sure shit doesn't fall down around your ears....cutting through the bullshit with a sawsall or a psychic karate chop, he's always got the right tool for the job....and if you can catch him with his guard down he'll give you a hug that strengthens your bones and warms your heart so that you too can go forward and do what needs to be done.

Flying J has been my best friend for over 5 years and the most influential person to have entered my life. Flying J has been and continues to be a rock of support when I need him most and I don't question that he would be there again without a second thought, in an instant, wherever I may be, whenever I may need some help. He understands me better than I understand myself sometimes. I am so thankful to have you in my life Flying J! He is patient (a quality I have tested many times over I'm sure!), loving, sexy, ever so sweet, infuriating, and always knows how to make me smile. His intelligence surpasses my comprehension as does his sense of humor every so often. giggle. His generosity and unquestionable devotion to the people he loves is inspiring and endearing. And I am so lucky to be one of those people! Flying J can make me shake my booty like no other DJ, his music reflects the happiness and love that grooves in his soul.

J was a veteran Burning Man participant even before he heard of Burning Man. He has the wonderful ability to create the perfect party scene and help everyone to have a super fun time! He looks super sexy in a leather kilt and eye makeup, and sure knows how to DJ like a madman. I love hanging out with him and hope he moves back to Portland soon.

Flying J is nothing less than a barnyard in orbit!! In other words, an exotic cocktail of furious ambition!! Knowing him is like wearing god's chastity belt for a day: you will finally experience what true creativity really is. J has more motivation than the entire state of Utah!
