Um...well, I am a writer, mostly slam poetry. I started writing and sharing my spoken word in 2002 with the Dallas poets. I've never had kids, never been married, I live all by myself with my fish Dombek and I love it. I am very close to my sister, my mom, my aunt Cindy, my uncle Jim, and all of my cousins are like brothers and sisters. I have the greatest friends in the world! I am a tribal dancer and I perform with the Bella Fusion Dance Company. I first started dancing Tribal Fusion about four years ago, then I began learning traditional Tribal Style six months later. My tribe members are my sisters. They are my family away from family. As stated in my interests, I love underground hip hop, Bjork is my favorite singer, Dj Shadow is my favorite dj, my favorite poet is Sage Francis, and I have a great love for all of Indigo but Zoe Jakes is my number one favorite Belly Dancer. Oh and, Rage Against the Machine is my very favorite band of all time. I have a day job as a hospital data entry clerk, but my night job is teaching tribal classes at a few different recreational centers around El Paso. Our tribe usually performs every other weekend. It is one of my grand dreams to be a radio show host. I would love to have my very own classic hip hop hour on a radio station. In the mean time, I host a local karaoke show at a popular bar here in El Paso called Maverick's East every Sunday night. I like to think I'm funny, even though I know I'm not always so. In which case I just laugh louder at my own jokes so I don't feel so bad about the silence. I am currently single by choice. I haven't found anyone that is capable of loving me more than I love myself so why bother? I love Life, I make out with it everyday. Then Life likes to slap me around a little bit and tell me to make it something to eat. After that Life makes sweet love to me, then we turn on the t.v. and watch late night re-runs of Will and Grace. Ah Life, how I love thee.
