Well, the Holiday season is here. Since today is my day off from work, I had the day all planned, but of course it didn't go according to my plan. Did I really feel that? Apparently it was not my imagination and there was an early morning earth quake here in the Midwest around 4:30 AM(well at least I know why my bed was shaking). Now when I think of earthquakes, California usually comes to mind, not necessarily Illinois. I must admit I've always had a mild curiosity of what one feels like. Well, I guess I got my answer.

It's officially my countdown (approximately 17hrs) until I jet on outta here. My destination...Greece. I'm now experiencing much anticipation, excitement, wonder, etc. Ancient ruins, Greek mythology..... Oh, and food, drinks, and the men, of course:) I'll be sure to take lots of pics.

Just got in not too long ago. I had the pleasure of seeing Bellyqueen live today. Let me tell you....they were AWESOME!! To Kaeshi, Amar and the rest of the ladies of Bellyqueen, you rocked. This is a show not to be missed:)

I just finished painting my second bedroom. Took me almost eight months to do it(I started painting this room in June of last year!) I think this officially marks the end of my pseudo painting career, as I am not really cut out for this. So no more paint brushes, paint rollers, cans of paint, drop cloths, etc. for me(if I can help it). The next time I need a paint job, I'll hire someone todo it and sit on my couch and eat popcorn and watch them paint.
