about me
My life has revolved around my body, whether it was the journey of healing myself of various challenges that spirit through at me, or exploring my freedom of expression through dance.

Tribal Fusion is my style of choice, it embodies the depth and intesity i so enjoy delving into.

From overcoming many health challenges since i was a child, then studying the modalities that i used to heal myself, health of the body is a major part of my reality. Dance is something that feeds and heals my soul. Belly dance is one of the last healing dance forms left on this planet and that is the perspective that i teach it from. The body fascinates me, the way we are able to move within it.
I have been belly dancing for 11 years as well as training in some modern dance, yoga, kung fu and qi gong. I feel like i am still at the beginning of a phenomenal journey!

My Blog

Well, the last 8 months have taught me the art of patience.

After my back decided that dancing and healing an old spinal injury were not condusive, I have been existing in a back brace for most of my days, working on clients and writing. The inability to experience any dynamic movement is now getting to a point of itchy feet of note!

Anyway I am healing fast. I have learned so much about the body from working on clients and fixing dancers this year that i plan on putting a kick ass wo... read more

Our aim to spread the awareness of Tribal Fusion around the Country seems to be happening at a rapid rate, our classes have double and our recently trained teacher and performer Kash is a huge blessing and asset to the evergrowing body of SOMA.

We are very excited abo... read more

Well it has been a very productive year.

SOMA has:
