I am a 41 yr old Pagan Woman who lives life to the fullest. I have always loved to dance and then I got very ill and thought I would never dance again. I had cancer among other things and got hooked on all the pain medications the doctors kept feeding me. I spent 2 yrs on my couch and then last Nov. I decieded enough was enough! I stopped taking the medications and started walking, meditating and praying to the Gods that have meant so much to me through my life. They responded by reminding me of everything I had to live for. Then I found Andalee and Rosa through my coven sister Bella. These two women teach Middle Eastern Dance. Something in this Ancient Art has always spoken to my soul. I started dancing with them and now I am conditioned enough to dance a little everyday without pain. I am so grateful for that! These two beautiful women have taken me under their amazing wings and taught me to live again through dance. I just danced my first solo in 2 years at Andalee's Hafla on March 29th, 2008! I never thought I could do that again! Thank you for that Andalee! You gave me a chance to make a dream come true! I am truly excited about what tomorrow will bring as I dance through this Journey of Enchantment called life!
