I recently saw a David Byrne concert and it was one of the most artistic and visually stimulating concerts I ever attended. The dancers were outstanding and interpreted the music perfectly. I literally lost myself watching them and David onstage. I totally recommend if you can get to this show, you do. The dance is modern but the feel is amazing. I love Mr. Byrne's uninhibited can-do approach to artistic expression using all forms of art; music, dance, print, mixed media, written word etc.

Yep, I did it! Completed my first Certification workshop in Fusion Belly Dance with a belly dance Superstar, the beautiful and gracious Ansuya. This was an unbelievable experience. "The Power of Attraction" as Ansuya would say. I wished it, believed in it, thought about it constantly and it happened and it will keep going. And it is magical.................

Even with Faye swirling still, nothing could have stopped the wonderful exchange of positive energy, openly giving instruction, laughter and beautiful dancing by Ansuya (up close and personal, this is not to be missed by anyone). The Secret is real, I'm a believer and I can't wait to be a student in all of her Comprehensive classes. All photos were taken with permission. 
Baseema and Samantha did a wonderful job on this event- such a great evening and for a cause that affects us all. Great news on the success of the event and from the large crowd there, I am not suprised you surpassed your fund raising goal. Everything was perfect!! Everyone was beautiful.

Last week at the Clarion show, I had the pleasure of seeing Najmat dance. She is incredible. Her energy, confidence, beauty and hotter-than-fire dance style is a joy and delight to watch. Even better if she invites you on stage to join her!!!! She gave everyone a lot of positive energy that night and I hope it stays with me for a really long time. It's an Inspiration. Thank you Najmat!

After a lot of work with dance lately (and I mean work!) I had myself some unabashed FUN today with two other amazing goddess dancers (and one fantastic drummer). Our performance was for pure entertainment for a very appreciative audience. The energy was cracklin and the dance was both a giving and receiving of joy and celebration. Our drummer is one talented man, and he gave us some awesome beats to move to. The beats and the dance was like a magnet, it drew all in that venue to that room. Thank you Teresa for a wonderful day.
