Sheridan came into my life like a whirlwind a couple of years back, and I'm forever grateful it happened. He's 100% the kind of person I want to associate with and call a friend for a lifetime. He's always told me what he thought without sugar-coating it, corrected me when he thought I needed it, and treated me as an equal. If he ever needs me, anytime, anyplace, anywhere, I'm there.

while at work today we lost one of the four legged boys. He was the youngest of the dogs. It was hard on Sasha and Leslie. It was actually Leslie's dog but I have his brother stinky and they grew up since pups together. So when she moved out it was decided to keep the boys together. Stinky knows something is wrong. He keeps whining so he is in with us eating his fair share of people food tonight. I buried tootsie under the lilac bush/tree next to his dad Booger.

We have been looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend in KC. BUT I just got the call from my oldest son Matt that his girlfriend is in labor and they are at the hospital. Looks like they are keeping her to induce labor. I may try and make the lunch meet in columbia then head down to Jeff city to see (hopefully) the new arrival. He got so excited and nervous that he had a panic attack and couldnt drive them to the hospital. So much for going and taking him to get his license last week.....

Its Sunday night well Monday morning around 12:25 we get a phone call from a stranger saying Leslie (kims daughter) had wrecked the tracker. She was ok just shaken up. Something about going over the bridge on a gravel road and sliding into a ditch...............

Jumping out of bed and grabbing a some friends that had stayed the night, out the door we went. we are on the gravel road at the bridge looking at the ditch for tail lights. About 30 yrds from the bridge we find where the tracker... read more
I have been quiet the last few. I lost a great friend. We put many a mile under our motorcycle tires. He passed suddenly for us but turns out he knew for a few yrs that he was going. His liver was cancerous as well as finding out he was hep C. He never told any of us even his future wife. I feel lost. The rest of our little bike crew is coming up tomorrow and his son's are coming in as well. I dont know what to do,.....just feel lost. All the times,memories,rides,bars,laughs are all gone. I a...

I sat this yr (08) talking to a special friend about the gift he gave me back in 05. I dont do much personal stuff with my blog cause that is just how I am but I think he needs to hear (as well as others) how without knowing you folks change lives. I divorced back in 1990. Of coarse the kids had issues with this, my oldest being Matthew was 10. We have had our different opinions on life and the divorce. He and I havent had the close father/son relationship since then.
