about me
I have lived in Alaska for about 20 years. My early childhood was spent living in the mountains of Northern California. Music was the first love of my life. I earned a living playing music from age 15 to 24. During this time, I began to become interested in photography. I built darkroom, and started shooting model portfolios part time at age 17. After I decided to stop playing music in bars, I worked in a sawmill in Oregon for a couple of years before learning to drive trucks and operate heavy equipment. The wilderness has always called me, and I decided to make the move to Alaska. I was very lucky in 1996 to be one of the winners of The Land for Alaskans program. This program allowed me to get my homestead in the Alaska bush. These days, cookiecache homestead (the name I gave my home) has a cabin and large garden. Since that time I have worked in film and video production. I have also worked on the Alaska North Slope.
