The power is back after 3 days. Thank goodness for the woodstove and buckets. I was able to see Incus and Kelliana at Inspirit Common on Saturday night. A wonderful show and after being in the dark with 6 kids and a houseful of assorted others, it was a nice treat. Thanks to all the performers.

Three men held space for him helping him to grieve, mourn and pay tribute to her. We have a knoll on our property that over looks a beaver pond. We call it Spirit Hill. Our dog who died many years ago is up there. A mutual friend and roomate of David and Dennis who committed suicide 10 years ago is up there...

Yesterday I went to my local shooting range and learned some things about shooting and guns. It was a 3 hour workshop called Women on Target. I had never even held a gun unless you count a water pistol. My first station was shooting clay pigeons with either a 20 gauge or 12 gauge shotgun. I chose the 12 gauge. Boy, did it deliver a kick! I backed up my car hitting my 2 year old nephew today. He is okay. But the image and sickening moment is still with me.

I was dropping my mother off at her home. My children and 3 nephews and niece were outside along with my brother and brother-in-law. My 8 and 2 year old nephews were in the front yard and my mother stepped out of the car. I put the car into reverse to finish some errands.
