As expected, Firefest in NH this year drew three times as many folks and vendors and everything that last year. I spun on the west stage and asked Aura to sing a song (a cappela) to open my set for me and invited folks to come up on stage to dance to my set. Moms, kids, some of the Capoeira performers all came up and funked it up onstage.

Just finished the fourth version of my book on my journey with diabetes. I think this one has life. Now on to the phase of final cleanup before getting it to publishers for review. Feels like a ton of bricks lifted off of my shoulders.

Flew down to DC on thursday to see my son Chunjee who just bought his first condo. Then turned around at midnight to help my friend Dave drive his Prius the rest of the way from South Carolina to Boston. We made it from DC to Boston in 7.5 hours...a new world record.
