about me
Here are a few quotes that express something about me.
In the gap between thoughts nonconceptual wisdom shines continuously - Milarepa I want to unfold. I don't want to stay folded anywhere, because where I am folded, there I am untrue. - Rainer Maria Rilke Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all - Helen Keller I just graduated with my MA in transpersonal counseling psychology with a wilderness therapy emphasis and moved back to the NW where I belong. I love to travel, learn and experience new things as often as I can. Music, dancing and art are like food for me. When I feel like I'm running low on emotional energy I do one of those things.

i cry in this moment for the pain of separation. not a separation that is real but one that is felt as real none the less. for the separation from our mother, she who bore us into existence and from who's hands we remain alive. i feel her all around me. my roots are sunk deep into her skin. yet i feel her pain as my own and the pain of those children who wander without awareness of the mother who is still near them. the sadness is so deep.

Tolerance.org, Mar. 6, 2003 [Printer-friendly version] WHITE PRIVILEGE: SWIMMING IN RACIAL PREFERENCE By Tim Wise Ask a fish what water is and you'll get no answer. Even if fish were capable of speech, they would likely have no explanation for the element they swim in every minute of every day of their lives. Water simply is. Fish take it for granted. So too with this thing we hear so much about, "racial preferenc... read more
Here I lie in a pool of my own spiritual blood, murdered by the loving efforts of a god who has been created by a human mind. I float about in ghostly form haunting the world of my life. Afraid to move forward, unable to move back. I am searching for the god who exists in the emptyness. Can I find that which I seek or by seeking do I simply recreate my former life in a different form? I seek that which eminates from the entirety of the universe and the entirety of me, both the me which is con...
