Stuck at home

   Mon, August 27, 2007 - 3:25 PM
I have been sitting or laying around the house the last few days since the baby decided to throw my back out. After a visit to the PT I felt great then did things I was told not to do and am hurting again. Five more weeks to the due date and I can't wait. So I am trying to figure out things to do at home that I don't have lean over to do. It is hard to be at home and not clean anything below my waist and day time TV sucks. Has anyone else been trapped at home, incapacitated, and found useful things to do to keep themselves busy?

Costume!!!! I'm sure that you can bead for a few hours without straining your back too much. You should also get a great book, I agree that day time t.v sucks. You could rent a sitcom series from blockbuster too, that will kill some hours! Or waste some hours watching you tube dance videos! Good luck!

Been there and yes it sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Besides costuming I did hand-sewing and a lot of reading. I can not imagine getting bored making dance costumes, but if it is discouraging try cross-stitching or some other hand-sewing. I saw on e-bay that a neeedlepoint piece of St. Bacillia's church was selling for $120.00 and that is with a bid so give it a whirl. I would say meditate too and picture a healing light going to your back. I know what dance withdrawals are, but this kept me busy. If all else fails call Valerie and I promise you can talk about something other than Arbonne and dance and I will listen. I broke my pubic bone two months before I had Anthony so I really do feel your pain. Please call me it is okay. Remember I can call you right back and talk for almost free.
Love,
Valerie
