Jatare is an awesome dancer. I had the pleasure of dancing with her in PURE Chicago Branch. Jatare was funny, engaging, confident and good at taking direction during PURE practices. She is someone who really knows who she is and she's comfortable being herself. While dancing she exudes power, confidence, sass and attitude. Jatare is an excellent technician yet she takes her dance way beyond technique giving it a unique flavor of her own. For a mesmirizing experience be sure to see Jatare with her tribal sisters in the group Hipnotic--they perform in Chicagoland at Khyber Pass restaurant in Oak Park.

I'm at Tribal Fest this week. I may be a little slow on the responses!! I'll try to get back soon though...because there are tons of workshops and shopping to be done!!

I decided that I wasn't doing it this year - making resolutions that fall by the wayside as my stress and hormone levels increase, decrease, flat line, and all other sorts just aren't worth it. And about one month into the new year...I'm not even thinking about those resolutions anyway. From Rome, we went to Florence. Florence doesn't have a lot of sights other than Michaelango's house and the original David. It's also not much of a tourist town like Rome and London. It's more of a shopping experience. You won't see lots of people with cameras taking pictures....and there is NO train system - however, Florence is SO small you can walk it - easy. And believe me, after waiting in line for 2 hours for the Vatican.......and walking around it, through it and all over it.....Flore...

So I am typing on a European keyboard and it's different from the US keyboard because I'm use to having the keys in one place and of course they are either somewhere else or do not exist.......and in each location the punctation marks move....so I'm doing my best to make sure that I'm typing something semi-normal and mostly English.
