I'm here for the belly dance scene: I love tribal fusion, the artistic expression, the fact it demands respect. I play darbuka, I sew and (this always feels wierd to say) I found from a previous job I'm quit good with foot massage *shrugs* I know dancers batter their feet.

So, for those of you who don't know my given names- "ambion" will suffice.

First and always I'm a Christian. Not a very good one but we all do what we can right? Never the less, like many, I'm flawed and broken... "I am the least of my brothers".

There are a few things I consider absolutes in this universe:

*there is only ONE truth. The issue I'm raising isn't who's belief is real but the misguided belief that "all belief systems are worshipping the same God". Such statements are a coward's attempt to hide away from their own convictions.

*public broadcast will always be trying to control you- block it out.

*and finally, and most importantly: no matter the situation, no matter what you get paid or promised, no matter what people tell you, no matter what's considered to be in fashion there has NEVER been and will NEVER be ANY excuse for a mullet. Mullets will eternally look like crap.

so anyway... I like anime. A lot. I have over a meter of it stacked up in my room and the collection is still growing. Music-wise I like Celtic stuff like Iona; rock bands like Incubus; goth stuff like The Cure, Theatre of Tragedy and Tristania; Metal bands like Within Temptation and Lacuna Coil; stuff I can't label like A Perfect Circle, Tool, Emilie Autumn and Tori Amos; and electronic music like Cybo, The Birthday Massacre, Au4 and Massive Attack.

Next is the drumming. I don't drum amazingly but I play a conga, a djembe and a darbuka. The conga I use in worship at my Church mostly and with nChant, my djembe is great for drum circles and community drumming, and my darbuka is for my belly dancer friends.

I make clothes too btw. It's just a hobby but I have pics up so feel free to take a look at what I've done so far.

Also, I believe TV is a brainwashing pile of wank, the mainstream is WRONG about everything, getting wasted every weekend is lame, men should protect and serve, kids are precious, music should be a community activity, piercings should be encouraged in all aspects of society, people with 3 or more ASBO's should have "ABUSIVE F**KER" BRANDED onto their foreheads, sports shops should only be in sports centres, TV should not be imposed on you on the fucking train, visual advertising should be minimised and all businesses should have star ratings on ethics, actual quality, value and service shown on the front of their buildings coz fuck- I hate liars.
