So, although I have been saying her name wrong now for almost 2 years, Su has been patient with me. I think she is a waaay more skilled and talented dancer than me, although she claims other wise. This lady has some mad zills skills, and I really am envious of her. Meeting Su has improved not just my dance, but also spiritually she has helped keep me focused and true to myself. Let's not forget her other bad-ass talent as the "Henna Gilr!"

Let me tell you---Su is AWESOME!!! You are my little soul sister in Texas! I felt like we were cut from the same cloth the first time we chatted! Just the sweetest grrl on tribe! So happy that we've become friends!!
& if you need some killer cowrie falls--Su makes the most gorgeous custom falls EVER!!!! July 3, 2006
I find Sunayna to be an inspiring person, her love and enthusiasm for dance is wonderful. When I feel a little lost or off track I read her blog and my enthusiasm is restored. Thankyou for that.
I hope all her dreams come true, I believe Sunayna is certainly able to do anything she sets her mind too! Smiles, Amanda

about me
I started out as a fan of my mom, who began bellydancing after having me to get in shape. I've been dancing on and off for quite a few years, most of my instruction being Egyptian-style Cabaret with Sohaila of Escondido, CA. I'm interested in branching out to learn other styles and growing as a dancer but I'd also like to hone what skills I have already. My long-term goal is to dance semi-pro locally.
Currently, I am a full-time cosmetology student and working part-time at a local fabric retail store, so my available time for dancing has been cut drastically. I miss it greatly, but I know I must keep my focus on my career. However, once school is done and I'm working my new career as a hair stylist, I will return to bellydance and learning from my amazing dance instructor, Stacey Lizette.

Rachel teaches Cabaret?
(in Rachel Brice)
I heard it through the grapevine that Rachel will be teaching cabaret, not tribal, during her workshop at Ya Halla Ya'll in Texas this coming August. Has anyone else heard about this? I'm really excited about this, and I really hope its true!!

I know Im getting into this post late, and my two cents are pretty dinky......I've been to YHY for two years now, and I keep going back. The classes are always amazing, even from teachers I initially wasen't into. I admit last year's gypsy fusio...
