veterans day

for all thoes that served,thank you. for those that are serving ,may god bless you. gardens of stone will some day be my resting place,this day always makes me sad. i miss those that served with me who reside not on this plane any more.but some day i will join them. the honored ground.for now its a ride then drink for me.so raise a glass for those that cant.

My father would appreciate that - he passed out of this plane 11/11 10 years ago. A veteran of WWII. He few PBY's in the Aluetians. So much changes and stays the same I lift my glass with you as I did with some of Stormin Norman's friends yesterday.

Why, thankee, Spike! I was a C-141 Loadmaster with the activated U.S. Air Force Reserve during the 1st Gulf War and 10 other years around that one year and four of 'em in active duty... all stationed at Travis AFB just up the road.
