My Blog

Japanese children of elementary school age have a weird fascination with trying to stick their fingers up unuspecting rears. (My wife says she believes it's the reaction they get that spurs them on.) It's more than a little disturbing and even more uncomfortable.

Being a new member of the community, I filled out my interests section and then went to work exploring which Tribe members had similar interests. There were about a trillion people with similar tastes, not a complete surprise. So instead of adding the complete database, I select a few people, some random for diversity, some purposefully because they had more similar interests than others. Since I can remember, I have always dug reading. As a boy, I would sit in my room for hours on end and read and read and read. I preferred it to going outside and playing. And though I did plenty of that as well, I have often, throughout my life, read into the wee hours of the morning. Many times I would awaken to find my book somewhere on my person or on the floor.
