The papers are now signed and it's official: This fall I will be starting a PhD program at UC Davis in Transportation Technology and Policy. These last two years in Rochester have been tough, but apparently the academic life agrees with me. I've been researching the health and environmental impacts of transportation and greenhouse gas reduction policy. Davis has offered me tuition plus a fairly nice stipend to come and get a PhD. Quick update, I'm going to be at the First weekend of Valhalla, not the second. Still looking forward to seeing anyone and everyone there though.
