It took me 7 years to round the globe, not 80 days, then again I wasn't in a hurry like Jules Verne...
I travelled in search for the prettiest beaches, incredibly gorgeous waters, and spiritual food...the divine.
Started out in India figured that's where it is... and got nothing but pinched in the butt by Indian man -in broad day light in the middle of the huzzle and buzzle of an indian market. Well that's not my cup a tea and having grown up in a liberal society where women were equal- that didnt fly; you dont treat women like a piece of meat!
I left, went north to the Himalayas, Nepal. Did I mention fleas? Fleas, fleas, fleas...how come none of the travelling guides had mentioned that? Especially hiking in the Himalayas and dogs barking all night - in search of the divine? The things one has to go through...
Burma was next and finally people who were nice to you big open hearts and not for your money, sigh of relief. One week visa is all you could get, no wonder the people were so unspoiled.
- hiked in the jungle -uff that was hard; mud knee deep for days, trees and lianes with spikes on them, long thorns, giant ants everywhere -Christmas eve in the jungle no tents, no food, little water, sounds of big animals in not so far of a distance -how big do animals get in the jungle of Chiapas?
Sailed across the ocean in a nut shell 33 foot sail boat hitch-hiked a ride from Panama to the Galapagos- and from there on to Tahiti,
the Marquesas islands where Gaughin singelhandedly nearly killed the entire population -Syphillis is a bitch in a country where free love reigns...
Those days are over now, at least on the outside. I never took enough time to see it up close.
Damm- it was good to see an island, after 35 days of nothing but water. 2 months at sea -color green after nothing but blue
blue ocean, bue sky -that was it for 35 days, dolphins were with us on a lot of the nights, their eyes outlined in phosphorescence like little stars in the water, and a school of whales which totally freaked my captain out, nearly send him overboard in a dingy. Being a rooky I didn't know a thing so I didnt worry -just stood and watched -big ones -little ones, spouts like waterfountains coming out the top -we were in the middle of them, it was great -but then it got awesome -one of them lifted his head out of the water -just yards behind our boat, unbelievable, flat, completely flat and huge, oh my god so huuuge -a big grey face like a wall, rectangular and entirely flat -if he had opened his mouth we'd be gone, lunch, sailed right into the belly and stayed there until he'd burp us up or else-
I remember from a story wher people lit a fire in the whales belly, and that's how they got out... well that's in the story anyway; it was our lucky day, he kept his mouth shut- and we kept on sailing...and then they were gone...
we were alone again at sea, until like I said a speck of green like a jewel emerged,an island after 35 days of nothing but blue; blue ocean blue sky it was the amazing to see the color green you'll never get that from an airplane ride but -the weirdest thing, when you got on land- ...it moved-
Motherf..... after all this time at sea, we've grown accustomed to it and now its the land that moved weired oceans alright but land no way, well -way...it moved for days and days and made me sea sick all over again- I wanted nothing better than to go back on the boat where nothing moved. It took a long time for that to change...

The next 4 years I could do away with 3 and a half of it, living on a lonely island, Bora-Bora with my husband, never leaving, fishing cooking gardening cooking cleaning cooking reading cooking tanning
killing tupa, land crabs so that the mosquitos wont bread in their holes, filling the holes with sand and poison which as it turned out eventually poisoned us too, went straight into the water table of the island no worries just 5 inhabitants and only two got sick one just a bit the other a lot yep that was me,
well that whole live style didnt agree with me doin all the work and him writing pretty poetry... so one day my body gave out
and that's how I came here to the US of a
and learned about healing
just wish I wouldn't have had to do it the hard way...
learned a lot about healing, and it worked -so I stayed with it
-it is teaching me and I am its subject

What else, my favorite thing on earth is music, dancing to this awesome music that keeps getting better...
Other than that, healing, sacred space, honesty and letting people be who they are, but speaking out when somethings really wrong
Hope that we can all belief in what is important to us and be strong enough to make it happen
