I just moved back to the Bay Area after an exile of over 20 years in Alaska and I have only been back about a year and a half; so I'm still meeting people and finding friends. I love contemporary art, interesting modern architecture, and modern interior design, and sometimes I even make my own art; but it's not yet what pays the bills, unfortunately. I'm lightly tattooed and pierced. My friends generally are also intellectually, aesthetically, and creatively very interesting people and are stimulating and interesting to hang out with. Basically, I get along with just about anybody and seem to be able to deal with just about any social context, but I'm also fairly particular about who my good friends are and I'm not into wasting time with people that are not interesting to me (not in "type" necessarily but in personality and "good humaness" qualities, along with interests, etc.) Although I have a brain and I use it, I am given on occasion to serious idiot moments (so if you become my friend, expect to see a goofy, stupefied look on occasion.) I even read books every once in a while (mostly non-fiction, sad to say. I'm not in any way a "literary type" though although I'm well read in a more general sense.)
