Ok, so I applied for a volcanic hazard assessment on the island of Dominica in the Caribbean. So if I get it, I will be gone for two months...which means I miss a good part of the Renn Season, but will be in San Bernardino for a month so maybe I will hit Southern finally. Does it run thru August? So, everyone keep their fingers crossed. This is why I got into geology, volcanoes on a tropical island! SWEET!

Ok, while i have not checked with the city...but i intend to...you only need to push the walk button once to make it work. I mean, who told these people that if you hit the button like the fire button on space invaders it will make it change faster??? So i am driving down the freeway tonight, thinking on how bad the rain was...and then i had an urge to turn off the wipers to see if it would get worse, but but when i turned them back on for it to not get better...and then thinking at least i wasnt next to a lory.....and i got this nice warm fuzzy, and just the thought of the Rain God made the trip a little brighter but also a little sad that he isnt around anymore.

Well, such is life...now where is my towel.......
