My Testimonials

November 17, 2004
Josh is the quintessential Chaos Magician; smart, lucid, experiential, experimental and with a fine sense of humor. I am honored to count him as a friend and look forward to much more fruitful interaction. I most respect people who excel in their endeavors, are open and honest in their communication, and don't take themselves too seriously. Josh happens to fit these criteria rather nicely.

I see Josh as a person who uses magick based on experience and pragmatism. His willingness to share with us is laudatory. He appears to face the world as it is rather than as he wishes it to be. This is so rare that it is worthy of comment for itself alone.

Went to the cast party for Jenna's last play...it was uber fun. Theatre people can really be a hoot. By which I mean, entertaining, intelligent, ball bouncingly funny - etc. I laughed, I cried, it was better than cats :^)

Of course, Art and Enid being jewish, it was a festival of food that never ended and it was super delish. Happy was I at the end of the evening...stayed out much later than I thought we would...having fun...5 hours just flew by. Midnight snuck right up on us.

We turned... read more

did you ever wonder why opec doesn't increase production even though profit's are soaring?

every other time the price of crude has shot up they've ignored their own quotas and pumped and pumped and pumped to get a bit of cash and then the price dropped - but not this time - not for the last two years...you wanna know why? i'll tell you - saudi arabia, and by extension -opec - has PEAKED....soon their production will not even stay constant - soon it will fall - this year - possibly next.

overloaded with plans this weekend...my violin instructor recommended seeing kimberly fraser (as she's an accomplished left-handed violin player)...and she's in town tonight...sadly (or happily i suppose) we've got party plans this evening...it's so rare that we get out and socialize while doing theatre so we're leaping on the chance to hang out with peeps that we like here :^)

had a fun and relaxed morning with jenna doing coffee and oggling girls...which is a hobby we share along with a... read more

definately a groovy day today, busy enough to go quickly but not so busy as to be stressful beyond reason - things got even better once i got home...being the exceptionally fortunate man that i am :^)

heading out tonight to hang with the theatre troupe...which is a bit of novelty for me as i don't tend to go out nights as...well...i don't drink :^)

thinking about actually pursuing a writing project post-house-move that will not relate, at all, to the occult on any level apart from mytho... read more

obscene my workload has become...<sigh> oh well, not much for it but to suck it up and prioritize the stuff that needs doing the most down to the stuff that needs doing the least...

violin practice continues to be an exercise in fiddle torture (for the fiddle that is)...not too worried though, enough times and any activity becomes fairly automatic...muscle memory and all that.

at times i'm tempted to post stuff about world events - but i'm not much in the world caring mode these days...... read more
