hearing the heartbeat really brings it all home and makes everything very real. That was always my favorite part. People you dont even know will tell you what you are having..it's pretty comical

That's so awesome. I feel just like donna, that makes it real to actually hear the little person inside you is alive and real. i absolutely loved being pregnant and feeling the baby move(later) and going to appointments and hearing the heart and such. thats wonderful. i think with joshua, i cried the first time i heard the heartbeat. are you being surprised with the sex?

Yes, I am not going to find out the sex of the baby. Tom really wants to be surprised so we're gonna wait. It doesn't really matter to me. There is so much you can do that's not gender specific.

oooh.. I remember those days (barely) lol~
make sure to take a blank tape when you get your ultrasound done so they can tape it for you! my kids still love watching their tapes! I took Allie with me for Leah's ultrasound and thewy also record your voices..Allie said "oooh! I can't wait to go shopping for the baby!" & " look mommy! Leah looks like a little elf!" we're all so happy for you! ~K |
