things I've learned this year

A few weeks ago Fisher happened to ask me "is their anything in particular you've learned while in Prescott, words of wisdom, that you would share with the rest of us."

Well it rolled off my tongue easily that night and I'm wondering if I could repeat it so that...well, so that I have some record of my shared thoughts. It is timely, as the year rolls over and winter has come. Time to reflect, go inside and consider what I have experienced and learned.

So here goes, not so much what I've learned here in Prescott but...

Things I've learned this year -

As Joseph Campbell said "Follow your Bliss." I believe this!

Love is the very stuff of making. The source. It comes from itself and grows exponentially. Love is a noun and a verb. Love is intention and action.

A person's true love is a real gift, don't abuse it, and be thankful.

Living a life of love, or living love in action, is to be motivated by the intention for the utmost good of all things or at least something. This is not to be confused with the idea that you actually know what is best. Trust your intuition. Your intuition is guidance.

Daily appreciation and gratitude. This has introduced a sweetness to life that makes every day a miracle.

How wealthy I am. I have wealth in a wonderful home, the finest foods, and the richness of community. I build social security by building community. I feel like a fucking Queen.

How fortunate I am to be surrounded by not just a few, but so many brilliant, compassionate, self-aware, thoughtful, funny, clever, exciting, sexy, dynamic and loving human beings. Amazing the way life works. I feel that I came to this place so we could find one another.

In the words of Charles Deveau "In the end it's only love that matters."

I'm turning into a big time goody goody, but I can't help it. Thanks for reading.

Take care of yourselves; take care of eachother.
