Shadow Circus Creature Theatre recently launched the first two episodes of 'Syrus the Talking Dreadlock'; an all-puppet talk show parody where Syrus interviews puppet versions of popular musicians.

In the first episode, Syrus interviews Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor... Out of all the blasphemous and offensive stuff we've ever put in our scripts, THIS video got me more hate mail than six years of shows combined? Why did it piss people off so much? Coz we made fun of Trent's suicidle dog. Seriously. Crack a joke about Jesus and nobody says a word, crack a joke about a rock star's pet that died ten years ago and everyone's up on your ass... Anyway; be warned. There are dead dog jokes:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_w5jj2GBswY

In the second episode, Syrus interviews Tori Amos only to have Kate Bush gate crash the show... It's a brutal cat fight to the death at Shadow Circus studio!

Well, although it got largely poor (and belated) reviews, Silent Hill has managed to make number one at the box office for two consecutive weeks. Being that the film industry enjoys dry-humping popular trends until long after they're good n' dead, the producers of Silent Hill have already begun working on the sequel. The ninja robot spies that we employ here at Shadow Circus productions have stolen some of the footage, and now we're prepared to give you all an exclusive first look at the upcoming second installment of the Silent Hill movie franchise. Make sure you have all the lights on, folks, coz this here is some scary shit:

Being as sick as I was this past weekend, I couldn't do a whole lot of running around outside, but I was getting stir-crazy in the apartment, so Shar and I ended up going to see 'V for Vendetta'.

There's already a whole bunch of reviews floating around the net about 'V for Vendetta' most of them favourable, and there's very little that I could add to what other people have already said, so I won't go on about it.

Shar and I didn't go see the movie alone, however. We brought along Syrus the Talking Dreadlock. Now, aside from being a beat poet and all-around happenin' hipster, Syrus was also an active revolutionary leader back in the 60's. Needless to say, 'V for Vendetta' got him all riled up, and he was hollering things like, 'That's right, cat! Stick it to the man!' all through the movie. When an usher told us to keep it down, Syrus spit in his face and called him a fascist.

Oh, yes... I liked 'V for Vendetta' well enough... but Syrus really really liked 'V for Vendetta'.

And you can watch his review of the film here...

Ever since Shadow Circus began, many of you have been able to sleep comfortably in your beds knowing that San Francisco's belligerent puppetry troupe was confined to the mist-drenched city of San Francisco... But at long last we shall go forth and conquer this feeble world with the power of fun fur and TECHNOLOGY!

That's right, today we've launched our first ever internet film, viewable at shadowcircus.com... Being our pilot episode it is, of course, still in the experimental stage (the audio in particular isn't exactly stellar) and there's already a million things I can think of that I'll be doing different for next month's episode. But if I kept working on things until they were perfect, I'd never release anything at all... (Yes, I'm aware that's a very 'Ed Wood' excuse...) So despite some technical flaws, we're launching it today in accordance with my own somewhat self-imposed deadlines.

And remember kids - this is only the first of an ongoing series of Shadow Circus films to be launched from our site. We'll have a new episode for you every month filled with laughter, adventure and internet viruses that set your homepage to marsupial porn.

So without further adieu, I invite you to view Shadow Circus Creature Theatre's very first foray into terrorizing the World Wide Web:
