A favorite quote . . .

"You can trust me, 'cause I'm your priest. I'm your shrink. I am your main connection to the switchboard of the soul. I'm The Magic Man... Santa Claus of the Subconscious. You say it, you think it, you can have it."

Lenny Nero (Ralph Fiennes) from "Strange Days".

Another favorite quote.

"You know what they say: There's enough religion in the world to make men hate one another, but not enough to make them love."

Louis Cyphre (Robert DeNiro) from
"Angel Heart".

Yet Another Quote

"You had to kill him. The boy cries you a sweater of tears and you killed him. How you gonna live with yourself?"

Angyl can say something about me no one else on earth can say, he was at my wedding...My first, and only so far, wedding...

In a city like San Francisco, you can get caught up in the art of surviving and just keeping up...And I did.l..I must admit with shame that I don't think I ever let Angyl know just how special he was to me...Perhaps it came across in small ways when I always wanted to do things with him and invite him to things, but I don't think I ever really let him KNOW...When I look back I see that he was always there, no matter what phase I was going through, no matter who I was hanging out with...Now matter how much of a flibberdijibberat I was he kept me around and kept me inspired and in laughter...

I look back now and wish I'd seen how special our connection was...I wish I'd dived into the music, the art, the photography...I wish I had thought more of it than a fleeting moment...Thankfully, I can at least say that I carry with me now many incredible little moments of inspiration and memory...The best Sundays were filled with piles of grocery store junk food, krystal burgers, ben&jerry's, and taco bell...Hehehe...Great movies and adventures in spur of the moment artistic fun...

I truly wish we weren't so far away from one another...

Angyl is the guiding light in my life. Or was that the flash on his camera? I was lit, I can't really remember now.

I do remember that I've known this talented artist for 14 years, and I love him dearly--he is an amazing friend. I also know that if you stay nice and quiet he will talk in circles for hours until he stops making sense. It's a gift.

Phenomenal photographer....and of course, one of my best friends of 12 years. Angyl has been there for me in good times...as well as the bad times. Even the horrible times. Noone could ever ask for a better friend. Angyl is an intelligent, cultured, artistic, well learned individual.
Love you baybee!!

What can one say about someone like Angyl. Except he is a great person, an excellent photographer and an awsome friend. Who is always fun to geek out with. He's a loving person and I'm proud to know him. And he's the only person I've ever rode a cable car with in the rain, which ended up in us going to our once beloved hang out Carlos Goldsteins to invent drinks. He's always been there for me and I can't thank him enough for all he's done.

Cheers buddy!
