about me
I like simplicity and am little interested in "stuff". Supporting underground synthpop of various sub genres is my passion and I have been a radio DJ at college station KSCU 103.3fm for over 6 yrs now. Love to bike ride, I drive lately when there is no option to bike. I think that biking will become a lot more vogue as our gas prices rise. It seems so silly to me that we have become so dependant on cars. Especially where I used to live in the bay area, an incredibly mild climate in CA to ride a bike to get from point A to point B.
Synth-Pop, College Radio Show (will begin that soon enough again), Club Nights with Synth and New Wave underground, Biking, Hiking, Nature, Thai Food, Animals...I have worked in animal welfare at the Santa Cruz SPCA in community outreach, Santa Clara Humane Society in adoptions and as a supervisor, as well as managed a pet sitting company, trained dogs, etc. Been a veggie refraining from poultry, beef, and pork since I was just 1 yr from graduating highschool. Returned to eating fish about 5 yrs ago, but I think about going vegan sometimes. All that mercury in fish now, despite it's healty fat, Omega 3's (which can be found in Flax seed anyway) Moved to Portand OR in Aug 06. I like reading books about saving our planet, or the effects of the things we do to it are.
I consider myself a deep thinker, but also a kid at heart, and a relatively mellow person. I have a good share of metro sexual as well as bohemian character more lately. I am balanced, but probably on the edge of insanity at the same time.
