about me
I first saw bellydancing at a show in Egypt and wanted to 'have a go'. Saw a class advertised in Luton nearly 5 years ago, went along and have been going weekly ever since. I then saw 'Tribal Kinesis' perform at a theatre bellydance show, and was blown away by tribal/fusion, and now do a weekly class in this too! I have tried to do as many workshops as I can afford - still love all forms of the dance, the beautiful glittery oriental costumes and flowing movements and the powerful movements and muscle control in tribal and the amazing multi-layered costumes and ethnic jewellery. I have since learned to pole dance which requires a lot of arm strength but is a great confidence giver if you can overcome your fears of some of the moves! But have sustained my worst injuries pole dancing - (snapped my biscep tendon)!! Also have done some burlesque which is great fun. I have met some lovely people through dancing.
