Thanks to the lov-erly Beatrice's suggestions, here are the top ten things about me you may not know ~ or may know? Anyway, here goes! 1) My mom was Sicilian, my dad Roman, both sets of grandparents emigrated to NY back in the hey-day of Ellis Island - and I am a New Yorker through and through (Big surprise there if anyone has heard me talk!) LOL! 2) I have two younger brothers - and a trillion cousins, & the most fantastic neices and nephew ever. And my dad is the BEST dad EVER! 3) I have four, yes, count 'em, four children, and I've been married a looooong time to a super guy named Gary who is completely supportive of my dance career! No one, but no one, messes with my kids - hate me all you want, but mess with my kids, you will be a persona-non-grata 4) I am a serious flamenco student/dancer ~ and I mean serious! One to two classes per week, plus private lessons 2x per month 5) I am a crazy dog person! Love animals of all kinds and love children ~ animals and children tend to attract themselves to me also! 6) I have a typical Italian/Sicilian temper! It takes a long time to get me angry, but when I do, watch out, especially if I'm PMS'ing, things get ugly. 7) I am a serious yogini. In five or so years, thinking of teaching yoga. I take 2 classes per week, 3 if I'm lucky to squeeze it in. 8) I'm a Virgo - September 11th ~ besides 9/11, my mom died on my birthday! It's definitely a day of reflection for me, not celebration. 9) I am a lefty politically (although I DO NOT talk politics or religion at social gatherings) and a humanist - although still a cultural Catholic. 10) I have no patience for bimbo behavior. Male or female. and a bonus ~ 11) If you are my friend, a true friend, you can do no wrong in my eyes, and I will "have your back" to the death.
