How long has it been since I have even logged on to this site. Is tribe.net even alive anymore? It's hard to say why I left. I opened a facebook account and haven't looked back. It all started with tribe having difficulty keeping the site up....... BUT I think it had even to do with something more. While I do love and enjoy my tribe ~ I simply find some people's incessant daily blogs and constant urning for attention to be well draining of my energies.

It's usually on the drive back from the grocery store where I see on someone's front porch or back yard growing a 9 foot tall lemon tree bursting with lemons. Of course it's after I just bought a bag of lemons myself at the store. If i could grow a fruit tree to the point of fruition ~ I'd be like an Aunty of your's whose house you go to and she'd packs a paper sack full of tart oranges that she picked from her back yard. til well you were sick of oranges; and had to start turning them away...

About 4 years ago I asked My OB/GYN to be tested for HPV. I was told, "How would I know if You had a Virus...inless you grew a wart, there is no way of telling = THERE IS NO TEST for HPV".

Today in 2008 there is a Test for HPV. You must demand an HPV test as they are not automatically administered through female's annual Pap results. It's possible that there is not enough awareness or funding to run these tests as a norm. HPV can remain dormant in Women's bodies for years, before an... read more
