I'm a bellydance enthusiast. Bellydance is the artistic and physical outlet in my very cerebral world. I enjoy bellydancing for the interesting ways it gets me to use my body. PANAMA!
I'm off to Panama on Saturday! I'll be there for 3.5 weeks. It's a "working vacation"; I'm doing some work for a branch of my university that's down there. I'm going to try not to get sunburned or hit by an automobile (i've heard the drivers there are worse than the ones in Mexico City!). If anybody knows of anything cool to do downthere that's not super obvious or if anybody knows of a belly dancer in Panama City, I'd love to know!

Since I was 10 or 11 I've kept a journal. I've got volumes of my musings in boxes. Sometimes I would write for pages and pages daily, and sometimes sporadically with only very small updates. Lately I'm finding that I write almost nothing at all, and I wonder if it's at least partly because I've become so much more dependent on the computer and the speed of typing.
