Well, the diagnosis is in. My left leg is about a quarter inch longer than my right, which is causing my pelvis to twist. The left side of my pelvis is almost a half inch higher than the right.

So my doc has given me a lift to put in the other shoe and I'll be going back for regular visits in the next few weeks so he can check to see if this is keeping my sacroiliac joint from locking up.

I had a standing x-ray done yesterday and pulled it out to look at it once I got to work. I won't be getting it reviewed by my chiropractor until friday, but just looking at the x-ray I can see that one side of my pelvis is up higher than the other.

So tentatively, it looks like I do have one leg longer than the other and will probably need a lift in my other shoe.

Due to numerous health problems including musculoskeletal issues with my lower back, I've had to pull back from dance activities for the past month and I'm not sure when I'm going to be able to get really active again.
