Hi Nuria!
Sorry to hear you have got such a tough decision to make! Hmm a couple of thoughts: For me as a kid it used to always be my mother to take care of me when I was sick for she was not working. That was great, but I would not have minded having a similar connection to my Dad. For a child I picture that would be enriching, having two actual caretakers, and not one caretaker and one breadwinner. Is her Dad the type to really share the upbringing (or being willing to do so in the future)? If yes I think mothers sometimes have to let the fathers have their share too - like if Mom is overprotective and won't tolerate a caring Dad next to herself she does inhibit the father-child connection to a certain degree, while strengthening her own connection to the child of course. Whether she wants to do that or not depends a lot on her own relationship with the child's father, and also on the child-father relationship (how good it is already). Aside this "let Dad grow as a father" point: The Saida workshop itself, has she been to Germany often? Will she be soon again? Like a more local teacher I guess skipping the workshops might be an option to think of. But this extremely famous Argentine singer might be an opportunity once in a couple of years I guess? Finally probably the most important: Is Liva in the condition of wanting a lot of company, or does she feel like sleeping and/or watching TV all day? I rmmbr unless I was REALLY bad with lots of fever I did not mind being alone at all. Just trying to sleep, being allowed to watch tv all day, and being sick had its advantages. Plus the toys I used to get!! I actually sometimes did not find a little flu that bad. You might want to get her a toy before going and get her a pretty necklace or something else and a signed photo by beautiful Saida once you come back? Hope this helps a bit :) take care and if you go PLEEASE enjoy the workshop and tell us afterwards what you learned :) dina |

Good that she is all better and that ended your dilemma. You are so lucky to go to a Saida workshop... I wish I could go!
Tell me all about it afterward. When is it? |

Oh everything was great! Show and workshops, choreos and people. Saida was there with Mario Kirlis, MatÃas and Gaston! I'll write a report tomorrow!

Nasma
Hey Nuria, how's everything going?
I just came back from my trip to Brazil (it was wonderful), and I was wondering how the Nasma choreography was going, if you still wanted to finish it or if you already finished it yourself, etc... |

Hahaha I loved to hear the dancers in you speaking (well you go kiddy is gonna be allright, there's nothing like a caring father) hahahahaaaaaaaa!
Yes her dad is very kind with her, he is like a second mum (only his idea of cooking really sucks.) Yame I'll send you a PM. |
