My Blog
Something about me...
What do I do with my life?OK, a typical day would start with walking the two terriers Jack and Buster; I might drive off to the woods with them or just walk up the river and back through town. I scoop da poop.
There's usually no one else around so I don't feel self conscious about chanting while I'm walking, it's new to me and I'm juggling with my views about whether it makes me more aware of the world around me as I go, or blocks me off from it. Jury is still out on that one.
Breakfast, feed the birds, (I'm supporting a family of 13 sparrows plus 2 collared doves and the occasional greenfinch); then to work - which is at home. Check for orders, queries, hysteria, try to sort it out. Look at the BBC news website mails from friends and maybe see if there's anyone new on seancody.com. If it's really quiet then I have a guitar or banjo or whistle on standby to play folk music on.
Cheese and pickle sandwich, News, Neighbours ( ...everybody needs good... )
More work - if it dries up, more play or a visit to my work friends. Maybe start food for Jim when he gets home from work.
Food, chat, and avoid TV; maybe do some meditation reading or writing; final check on the day's orders. Out for a walk on the cliff path if the weather is good and I feel that way inclined, maybe visit friends, see a film - Monday night is arthouse night so I'll meet up first, have food then see something good, sparsely attended and usually with subtitles.
Hit the clubs and party until 3.00a.m. (Lie).
Read about three paragraphs and try and fall asleep before Jim starts snoring.
