This Wednesday marks the beginning of the irregular prime of my life, and to celebrate I'm arranging a last-minute dinner gathering at 7pm at the Tied House (www.tiedhouse.com/ ) in downtown Mountain View (within stumbling distance of my place), followed by port and chocolate for anyone who would like to stumble back with me afterwards. This past Sunday I rode on a float in the 2006 How Berkeley Can You Be? Parade, spinning poi and flying a 32' rainbow "Skywriter" streamer on the end of a fiberglass fishing pole, thus fulfilling one of my lifelong Ferris Bueller's Day Off fantasies.
