Well... I've finally been able to recover from leg hooping by bringing it up instead of attempting to grab it and pull off some other crazy move. Not 100% consistent but I'm almost there. Yesterday, I started working on the behind the back elbow pass. I pulled that off a hand full of times but expended most of my energy by chasing the hoop more than anything else. At least it was a good work out!

Well I'll teach em! Just because my hands take a bit of abuse at work does not mean that a career option as a hand model is obsolete!
Here is my latest invention, an adapted utensil. Made with simply a hair tie! Which I might add is being modeled by no other than, ME! Ok, so I'm not a professional hand model yet but it's a start!

Ok, so what's the point of cake if you can't eat it. That would just be silly. So here I am in NC, in what I am discovering is one of the few hooping meccas! How did I get so lucky?
I've been blessed with the opportunity to attend workshops and take classes from some of the best! I started with some workshops at the Shakori Hills festival a few years ago.
